Camping on a raft
During The Raft Trip, you’ll spend your nights on the raft in a 4 person tent. On the raft an eco toilet is provided and along the route there are different spots where you’ll have access to sanitary facilities. You can dock your raft for the night at a meeting point with others or anywhere you like. You can decide to join a group or have a private raft trip. The nights will be spent in the heart of the Amsterdam wetland, surrounded by stunning natural beauty.
In the Netherlands, wild camping is prohibited unless it is at a designated spot. It is easy to find a beautiful spot because the raft can be docked anywhere you like.
The raft routes
You can choose between Multiple routes. All routes invite you to discover the Amsterdam wetlands from the water's perspective and from breathtaking nature locations. All hikes are optional, allowing you to personally curate the intensity of your adventure.
The Raft trip guides you through stunning wetlands, iconic windmill locations and picturesque villages like Broek in Waterland, Monnickendam with the flexibility to customize your journey. You can choose to sail together with other adventurist or make the full trip by your own raft. All routes and information will be handed out by our guides to set you up for success.

During this adventure, you'll spend 3 nights on the campingraft—This trip basecamp in Katwoude, where you'll have access full sanitary facilities. All other nights, you'll rest at the most breathtaking locations in the Amsterdam wetlands.
"In the middle of nature", on-water amenities are intentionally minimal. No traditional showers or toilets interrupt your connection with the wilderness. opportunities for necessary pit stops and to refill your water bottles from pristine sources.

Our basecamp address is Jachthaven de Zeilhoek at Hoogedijk 6, 1145 PM in the village of Katwoude.
Buses from Amsterdam take 20 minutes with multiple bus lines (110, 112, 314, 316). The busses run every 10 minutes.
Uber taxi takes 20 minutes and costs around 25 euros.
Bike route from Amsterdam - Broek in Waterland - Katwoude is 20 km and takes approximately 1 hour without stops.
